Join flautist Meera Maharaj and harpist Lucy Nolan for an enchanting programme of music exploring the theme of mythology. Including works by Debussy and Sibelius, as well as some Scottish folk music.
Meera Maharaj is currently a Countess of Munster Recital Scheme artist, previously having been a Tunnell Trust and Park Lane Group artist. Since 2013, she has frequently performed with guitarist James Girling, as the Meraki Duo. In 2019 they were finalists in the Royal Overseas League competition. Meera has played at the Concertgebouw, Bridgewater Hall, Wigmore Hall, Kings Place, Royal Festival Hall and Royal Albert Hall at the BBC Proms.
Lucy Nolan has featured in performances for BBC Radio 3 and 4. She regularly works with orchestras such as the Hallé, Manchester Concert Orchestra and the Royal Northern Sinfonia and has been invited to perform in renowned music venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Cadogan Hall, Sage Gateshead and Bridgewater Hall.
